Basic Rules of The Glade
(where people prepare by crafting their items and scavenging food):
- Everyone does their part. No slackers.
- Never hurt another Glader. You have to trust each other.
- Never go outside the Glade, unless you are a runner.
This is NOT Club Med; this is the MAZE RUNNER.
This server is not for everyone, if you can’t follow the rules and you can’t do things for yourself, this server is not for you. To make sure that everyone EARNS their own escape and that the integrity of the server is maintained, all rules must be followed.
This server is monitored constantly. Admins/Mods don’t need to be on to review players actions during the day. Players who break the rules may be banned without notice. Just don’t do it.
SERVER RULES: (keep checking back to stay up-to-date on the latest)

NO SPOILERS. Do not reveal anything about the maze or any areas on this server (ex. what you see, where you are, what killed you
, what you wish you had, how you are prepping, etc.).
DO NOT ASK OTHER PLAYERS ABOUT THE MAZE, what they are doing, how to play, etc. Tempting other players to break rules will result in a ban for you and the other player (if they respond).
Consequence: BAN -
Do NOT GUIDE OTHER PLAYERS / Do NOT FOLLOW OTHER PLAYERS through the maze. This is cheating.
Consequence: BAN -
NO TEAMING / NO COACHING / NO GIVING OTHER PLAYERS ITEMS. This server is an individual challenge.
Consequence: BAN -
Do NOT ASK TO BE ADMIN OR MOD. Only after gaining full trust of the owners and showing a consistent knowledge and respect for the rules, including helping others understand them, will a player be considered for promotion as a mod. Asking for this continually won’t help. There are no guarantees or timeline.
Consequence: KICK, WARNINGS, BAN -
NO HACKERS/SCRIPT KIDDIES allowed.
Saying you’re a hacker, associating with hackers, or having it in your name is an INSTANT BAN.
This is a Revenge of Players (ROP) Server and NO HACKING will be tolerated. This is an ROP server. If you hack on this server, you WILL be reported to ROP, BH’s moderators and WILL be placed on the blacklist and possibly get cloud-banned. Moral of the story: don’t do it.
Consequence: IMMEDIATE BAN -
NO ASKING FOR HANDOUTS/NO STARTER PACKS/ NO LAND in the Glade/ NO PERSONAL BENCHES in the Glade. You are trying to escape, not set up for long term living. If these things are allowed later, it will be very clear at that time.
Consequence: Warning -
NO MEDITATING/ NO PAUSING ever.
Exception: Only Admins can meditate.
Exception: Pausing is only allowed in a safe place in order to read the Welcome Message and the rules. If you pause in any dangerous area, this will be considered a cheat.
Consequence: BAN -
ONLY 1 BLOCKHEAD ALLOWED
If this is allowed later, it will be very clear at that time.
Consequence: Warning to get rid of additional BHs -
NO TELEPORTING If this is allowed in certain areas, it will be clearly marked.
Consequence: BAN -
NO GOING THROUGH THE MAZE or PLAYING/CRAFTING WHILE “AWAY”. This is considered cheating and also ties up workbenches so others cannot use them. STOP ALL ACTIONS before you LEAVE.
Consequence: BAN -
NO KILLING SCORPIONS, SHARKS, TROLLS, UNICORNS, or things that go bump on the night anywhere on this server.
You may kill other animals for resources in the glade.
Consequence: Warning to BAN -
NO DUPING allowed on this server.
Consequence: BAN -
NO ADVERTISING FOR OTHER WORLDS or NO POSTING EXTERNAL LINKS. Respect the server and do not try to take players elsewhere.
Exception: Buddy servers with embassies on the server may be discussed.
Consequence: INSTANT BAN -
NO RETURNING TO THE MAZE once you escape. (IF you ever escape
) -
NO Swearing, NO use of objectionable, racist or homophobic language, NO preaching religion or politics, NO discussions sexual in nature, NO harrassing or bullying, NO asking for personal info including age, address, phone#, email, social network accts, etc.
Consequence: Warning or BAN, possible Report to ROP & BH Moderators** -
NO CRAZY NAMES like 193883 or ssjjxbcb or ones with emoji fonts, obscure characters, invisible characters, spaces at the beginning or end, hard to read names, .com or .net names (or similar), or inappropriate/ questionable/ offensive names. NO IMPERSONATING STAFF. (this includes using the same profile pic).
These names will be banned and you will need to recreate a normal name to re-enter. The log is monitored and a name that break this rule will be banned at anytime.
Consequence: NAME BAN, depending on severity Full BAN -
CUSTOM AVATAR/PROFILE PIC REQUIRED. No default bhs pics please. Many reasons for this but since everyone is curious, custom pics allow players to quickly identify who is speaking, it allows the staff to quickly find those players, etc. This rule is not negotiable.
Consequence: KICK, Warning, BAN -
NO INAPPROPRIATE PLAYER PICS
Consequence: INSTANT BAN, ROP Blacklist, Report to BH Moderators, possible Cloud ban -
NO MULTIPLE IGNS (accounts).
Some exceptions may be granted. Discuss privately with Owner.
If you are found with unapproved multiple igns, randomly selected IGNs (not your choice) will be banned, incl. ones that are furthest along as punishment. Multiple abuse of this rule will lead to an IP ban.
Consequence: NAME BAN -
NO DYING ON PURPOSE to gain resources.
Consequence: BAN -
NO D-PAD USAGE Touch Screen & Tilt play only.
Consequence: Warning -
NO APPLES, APPLE TREES, EGGS or DODOs allowed.
So, be sure to eat the apples you spawn in with.
Consequence: BAN -
NO PETS allowed.
Some exceptions will be allowed for staff by permission. Having a pet or trying to make a pet is not allowed.
Consequence: BAN -
RESPECT and ADHERE to the requests of THE ADMINS AND MODS. Owner, Server & Staff reserve the right to BAN any player who is consistently combative towards the staff and other players. There are plenty of servers to choose from. All of us want to enjoy our time playing BHs. If you significantly undermine the ability for us to do so, you will be banned.
Consequence: Warning to BAN -
ANY PICTURES, VIDEOS or DRAWINGS of the maze and any part of this server (unless cleared by the owner) is NOT allowed.
Any spoiling on this server or in any chat room, other server, forums, etc is not allowed.
Consequence: Immediate BAN -
ITEMS NOT ALLOWED in the glade or maze:
pole items, portal chests, personal trade portals, personal portals, jetpacks & items to make jetpacks, armor above what you can make in the communal workbench, diamonds, rubies, emeralds, gold pick axes, gold shovels, eggs and tin foil hats.
Consequence: Items will be confiscated, Potential BAN
IN THE SCORCH all above rules above apply PLUS the following: (remember, no spoilers here either)

Personal portals allowed in the scorch, but it must be level 4 or lower and you have to close it off with iron doors or blocks.

No Jetpacks (rare exceptions per the admins). No Unicorns.

Requesting Land allowed ONCE you reach a specific point in the scorch. You’ll know when you get there. Land is scarce; you must play on the server long enough and accomplish enough in that area to earn property. Any player not returning to the server frequently enough will have their land confiscated to be given to other worthy players.

Second blockhead allowed AFTER you get land or ONCE you prove that you have reached the area that allows you to ask.

Benches NOT ALLOWED: Electric Stove, Electric Kiln, Electric Furnace, Electric Press, Electric Metalwork, Electric Sluice, Egg Extractor, Refinery
RULES FOR ADMINS & MODS:
- NEVER upgrade the spawn portal!! Only the owners can upgrade the public portals.
- Do NOT give out anything. Especially NO trade portals, portals, diamonds, rubies and portal chests! Do NOT let ANYONE borrow these items at any time.
- Do NOT leave your items out in the open. Take your stuff with you when you go offline.
- Do NOT admin or mod anyone. Only the owners can select staff on this server.
- Do NOT let anyone out of any area unless they have successfully and honestly completed the area. Does not matter if they are mod. NO exceptions.
- If you ban someone, please let me know why on discord (Ban channel), so I have that record.
