How to I write a time on the forums?

#1

I have seen people write times that automatically show the right time for a persons time zone, how is this done?

In to tool bar of the new post dialogue there’s a gear wheel. Click on that. You will see the insert date option.

Hehe, the gear button actually doesn’t work on my iPad, just like the buttons to create threads. I always need to borrow someone else’s device, so I guess my iPad is just too old or something.

You can insert time here:
January 10, 2019 1:35 PM (Europe: Paris), January 10, 2019 4:35 AM (America: Los Angeles) UTC +03:00.
But by clicking on the gear and clicking on Insert Time.

Yes, some devices have been deprecated, so you can no longer update your OS. This can also mean apps are no longer upgradeable. If you’re using Safari, and are stuck with an old version, maybe look at other apps, such as Chrome or Firefox, and see if you can get more up-to-date functionality using those.
