Is the game gonna get updated?

I know not any time soon because Dave is currently working in Sapiens but when he finishes will he starts to update The blockheads regularly (including sapiens too) or this game is left to decompose for good? I personally think it is not very done, I believe he might come back but i see people saying there won’t be an update for ever and 1.7 is the last so i’m not really sure.

I didn’t seem to find a post like this on the “Questions”, sorry if i accidentally doubled post.

Again, probably not, because according to @milla, the Blockheads no longer has any return on investment.

It is unlikely that the game will be updated again.

An update

The game is more than seven years old, and the next game, Sapiens is in development. Working on Blockheads in place of Sapiens, would mean delaying the new game, with zero return on investment.

you might get fixes but that’s about all, even that i doubt at this point
